What Is BookieTrading?
BookieTrading is a daily market intelligence platform delivering AI-powered stock and crypto picks to traders and investors who want an analytical edge — without the noise.
We built this because most financial content is either too shallow ("buy this hot stock!") or too academic. We wanted something in between: real analysis, real price targets, real thesis — with full transparency about how it's generated.
Our focus is on picks that have a specific, falsifiable thesis. Not vague market commentary, but: here's the ticker, here's the target, here's why, here's the timeframe.
How Picks Are Generated
We believe in full transparency. Here's exactly how this works:
Market Data Collection
Each day, our system fetches current prices, volume data, and market cap information from public APIs — CoinGecko for crypto, and financial data providers for stocks.
AI Analysis
We use OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini to analyze the data and generate thesis statements, price targets, and confidence assessments. The AI is prompted with structured financial reasoning frameworks.
Thesis Generation
Each pick receives a 2-3 sentence thesis explaining the specific catalyst or opportunity. These are AI-generated and reviewed for factual accuracy.
Daily Refresh
The entire picks database refreshes daily at 6am ET via automated cron job. Prices update in real-time via API. Blog posts generate weekly.
